Hey gang.

I have 2 questions.

1. Have you or will you have support for the AOR 7030?

2. Will you have a javascript interface?

I would like to get my 7030 online with you, but the only reason I cannot is that Flash will not work through our school Proxies. I do listen a lot at work. You are not the only people, and there is nothing we can do about it.

Just a couple of thoughts.

Thanks

Support for AOR-7030 only exists through 3rd party software.  I think SWLog supports that radio (I know you dont like SWLog). I will try to implement direct support when i start writing more radio drivers by grabbing SWLogs source code for his AOR-7030 driver. For now focus is on functionality and stability of the server.

JavaScript Interface might come out this year. The problem with proxies is they might not support all the ports or protocols being used by RCForb and Flash. So even a JavaScript based client will not work in all cases. But this is still months out. I'm busy with other parts of the program right now.

I have started implementing a simple HTTP server inside RCForb. This feature should bring back some old things, such as the Radio images and Smeter images that used to be generated by previous versions of RCF. I will also implement the generation of some XML files that contain the details of your radio, such as frequency, smeter, buttons, etc. This will allow for a javascript based interface to be designed. For now i'm only integrating the HTTP server into RCForb. I'm not designing a Javascript interface as of now, but i'm preparing RCForb to have this ability without further code. So someone with the knowledge about javascript could potentially develop an interface when RCForb is ready. Like mentioned before this could be months away from release...

I can tell you that the audio runs through the proxies on all the registered nodes with no issue via media player.
I am fed up with GT and wanting to move accross, so when/if you can it would be very good.

Look forward to progress. :p
