To all operators using the Shortwave log program to control your radio on RemoteHams, you may wish to update to the latest version of SWLog as it is generating very large (over 3 giga bytes in a month and a half) log files, the new version allows you to turn of the debug logging.
I identified this problem a little while ago and got the author of SWLog, Bob, to put the option of turning the text file logging off. Down load the latest version from here, http://www.shortwavelog.com/download.aspx . Shut down all parts of the Shortwave log suite of programs and go to my documents/N3OEA/Shortwave Log/Logs and delete the txt files in there. Now install the latest version and follow the usual instructions. When installed open Shortwave Log itself, go to options/Settings then in the General tab where it says "Enable Logging to Text File" click the "No" radio button, then save preferences.
You can now start the radio control server and then RCF as usual.

HRD also has a IP Server log file, which gets big...not sure what the status of it is in HRD v5.0

located here
Program Files\Amatuer Radio\Ham Radio Deluxe\HRDIPServerLogfile.txt
You might want to check on it if you use HRD...

Found that in HRD 4 but can't find it in HRD 5 not even in application data!
Wonder if he done away with it?
